Madison Strauss

Professional Biography

Madison Strauss serves as a Sustained Impact Rural Justice Fellowship at LASCO in the Chillicothe office. Madison is currently a rising second-year law student at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she also serves as Vice President of the Energy & Environmental Law Society.


Before joining LASCO, Madison gained experience in planning, governance, and public service through several internships, including with the City of Upper Arlington Development Department, The Ohio State University Board of Trustees Office, and the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission. Her background in city and regional planning informs her interest in community-centered legal work.


“Being able to provide support to a rural community similar to where I grew up is very rewarding,” Madison says. “I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to do that at LASCO.”

Madison is originally from Bozeman, Montana. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, pilates, and anything nature related. Her favorite animal is the ermine.
