Janel McGowan
Professional Biography
Janel McGowan works as a Legal Secretary for LASCO. She brings 18 years of experience from a private family law firm, along with prior service as a Deputy Clerk at the County Court level, where she also completed probation officer training and earned relevant certificates. “Working for LASCO is a daily reward for me. Focusing on the needs of others during their difficult time provides hope to our clients in various ways. I am proud to be a part of our LASCO team,” she said.
Alie Morrison works as an Intake Specialist for LASCO. She has prior experience in customer service, escrow processing, and office management. “I love being able to demonstrate to people that there IS someone out there who cares and is willing to give you all the time you need to share your story,” she said.

Janel loves spending time with her family, friends, and her poly-dactyl cat, Tina Marie.
She currently serves on the Columbus Domestic Violence-Survivor Voices Board.
In her free time, she enjoys camping, fishing, and kayaking—anything outdoors!

Alie and her partner Joey have 2 children, Mikey and Eddie, and 3 cats, Zeppelin, Mystic and Obsidian. Alie moved to Columbus from Zanesville around 10 years ago when she met Joey and then became a stay-at-home mom.
Alie appreciates all forms of art and enjoy making, experiencing and sharing it. She loves creative planning, journaling, music, video and board games, and swimming.
