Janel McGowan works as a Legal Secretary for LASCO. She brings 18 years of experience from a private family law firm, along with prior service as a Deputy Clerk at the County Court level, where she also completed probation officer training and earned relevant certificates. “Working for LASCO is a daily reward for me. Focusing on the needs of others during their difficult time provides hope to our clients in various ways. I am proud to be a part of our LASCO team,” she said.

Janel loves spending time with her family, friends, and her poly-dactyl cat, Tina Marie.
She currently serves on the Columbus Domestic Violence-Survivor Voices Board.
In her free time, she enjoys camping, fishing, and kayaking—anything outdoors!
