Anna R. Lynch

Professional Biography

Anna R. Lynch serves as the Veterans Outreach Attorney at LASCO, based in the Columbus office. In her role, Anna develops partnerships with organizations serving veterans, leads outreach and trainings for VA and community providers, and coordinates LASCO’s monthly Veterans Legal Clinic at the Columbus VA Medical Center.

Anna represents veterans in a range of civil legal matters and VA-related cases, with a focus on overpayments and discharge upgrades. She works closely with LASCO’s legal teams to address veterans’ comprehensive legal needs and ensure they receive holistic, client-centered representation.

Before joining LASCO, Anna served as a staff attorney with Iowa Legal Aid. During law school, she deepened her commitment to public interest law as an AmeriCorps intern and Rural Summer Legal Corps Fellow with Iowa Legal Aid. She also assisted with two veterans’ appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Anna says of her work: “Our legal systems are complex, whether we’re talking about an eviction case or an administrative appeal with the VA. Veterans shouldn’t have to navigate these systems alone. My goal is to meet people where they are. Legal help should not only be accessible and understandable but make sense within a person’s lived experience.”
